Fairwood Services were asked to deep clean a private gymnasium in Bristol at the start of February. Following an assessment of the client’s requirements, we took the course of action that best met their needs.
First we carried out a thorough deep clean to remove any soil film, leaving the surfaces clean and ready for treatment.
We then applied Nordic-chem antimicrobial coating to all the equipment and machinery. The antimicrobial coating is a nano film, which bonds to surfaces, creating a “mechanical barrier” which breaks down the virus on contact, rendering it harmless. This barrier is effective for SIXTY DAYS and is not affected by normal cleaning techniques. This has been tested and proved in UK laboratories. The efficacy of the coating is tested by the approved applicator after 30 days to ensure it is still working as it should. This is included in the service for your peace of mind.
The antimicrobial nano film is ideal for protecting all building users, where it is not possible to clean and sanitise between each individual touching surfaces.
