Marmoleum Floors
Writhlington School in Radstock asked us whether we could do anything with their worn and soiled marmoleum foyer.
We scheduled the work for the school holidays and tackled two large areas of flooring. They were stripped back, re-sealed and polished to a brilliant shine.
Marmoleum is made of natural fibres and is susceptible to damage from harsh chemicals. The coloured areas, which represent a CD, presented a particular challenge with the potential for colour
bleed. To avoid this, we stripped back the old floor coatings using only diamond pads and plain water, with outstanding results.
